Advertising & affiliate disclosure

The Steak Directory is free to use. To pay for research and hosting we may earn money in the ways below. None of them affect whether a business is listed or what we write about it.

Paid placements

Businesses can pay for a Featured or Partner placement. Paid cards are labeled "Featured · paid" everywhere they appear. Payment can change position on a page, never the information shown. A business cannot pay to be listed without passing the same verification as everyone else, and cannot pay to have accurate information removed.

Affiliate links

Some links, for example to booking sites or online butchers that deliver, may be affiliate links. If you book or buy through them, we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. We will mark affiliate links where they appear.

Advertising

We may show display advertising in the future. Ads will be clearly separated from listings, and where the law requires it we will ask for your consent before ads use cookies. See our privacy policy.

Independence

Our verification rules are the same for every business: name, address and open status confirmed by at least two independent public sources, or one official source updated recently. Each listing shows its sources.
